Arvin Chen (Chinese: 陳駿霖) is a Taiwanese-American film and television director and screenwriter. Born on 26 November 1978 in Boston, Massachusetts, he grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and studied architecture at the University of California, Berkeley. He later earned an MFA in film production from the University of Southern California.

Chen began his career working with director Edward Yang in Taiwan before making short films, including *Mei* (2006), which won the Silver Bear for Best Short Film at the Berlin International Film Festival. His feature directorial credits include *Au Revoir Taipei* (2010), *Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?* (2013), *Mama Boy* (2022) and *Love in Taipei* (2023). He has directed episodes of the Apple TV+ series *Pachinko* (2024) and is attached to direct the limited series *Coolie*.
