Ashley Way is a Welsh television director. Born in Cardiff in 1971, he began his career as an assistant director before writing and directing episodes of Welsh productions including the series *Belonging* from 2005 and the 2003 telefilm *Hoodlum & Son*.

Way directed episodes of *Torchwood* (2006), including the series 1 finale, and returned for further instalments in series 2. He later directed two episodes of *Doctor Who* (2010) and four serials of *The Sarah Jane Adventures*, among them *Death of the Doctor*. His other credits include episodes of *Merlin*, *Ripper Street*, *White Lines* and *Who Is Erin Carter?* (2023). He has received BAFTA Cymru awards and nominations for his work.
