## Biography

Aubrey Nealon is a Canadian writer, producer and director. Born in 1971 in New Denver, British Columbia, he trained at the Vancouver Film School. He began his career as a teen actor in the series *Hillside* (also known as *Fifteen*) before directing short films and his feature debut *A Simple Curve* (2005).

Nealon has written and produced for numerous television series, including *Flashpoint*, *Rookie Blue*, *Saving Hope*, *Orphan Black* (2013–), *Frontier*, *Snowpiercer* and *Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent*. He created and served as showrunner on the CTV series *Cardinal* (2017). He won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Writing in a Dramatic Series for an episode of *Flashpoint* and received further nominations for work on *Orphan Black* and *Cardinal*.
