August Winter is a Canadian actor, writer and director. They began acting as a child and spent six seasons as a member of the company at the Stratford Festival in Ontario.

Winter is known for the role of Jess Geller in the series *Mary Kills People* (2017–2019), as well as appearances in *Between* (2015–2016), *Wayne* (2019) and *Chucky* (2021). They played Melvin in the film *Women Talking* (2022), directed by Sarah Polley. Winter has also written and directed short films and is credited as a singer.
