## Biography

Aurino Cassiano is a Brazilian actor. He played Zeca in the 1959 film *Black Orpheus*.

A young musician from a musical family, Cassiano performed on the streets of Rio de Janeiro with his brother Amaury as the duo Dupla Chuvisco. They appeared in the 1957 film *Pega Ladrão* and Cassiano had a role in *Vai Que É Mole* (1960). Director Marcel Camus spotted him during the latter production and cast him in *Black Orpheus*. He later appeared as Crispim in *Meu Destino em Tuas Mãos* (1963).
