## Biography

Austin Stoker was a Trinidadian-American actor. He began his career on stage, appearing in the 1954 Broadway production of *House of Flowers*.

His film roles included MacDonald in *Battle for the Planet of the Apes* (1973) and Lt. Ethan Bishop in *Assault on Precinct 13* (1976). He also appeared in *Airport 1975* (1974), *Sheba, Baby* (1975) and the television mini-series *Roots* (1977), and voiced a character in the animated series *Return to the Planet of the Apes* (1975).

Stoker died on 7 October 2022.
