Ayumu Saito was a Japanese actor, playwright, director and theatre producer. Born in Kushiro, Hokkaido, on 20 December 1964, he died on 11 June 2025 in Sapporo.

He appeared in numerous films, including as the voice of Wabisuke Jinnouchi in *Summer Wars* (2009), Masashi Ishikura in *Ju-on: The Grudge 2* (2003), Kashitaro Itô in *When the Last Sword Is Drawn* (2003), Fujita in *Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai* (2011) and a Sanno-kai member in *Beyond Outrage* (2012). Saito worked extensively in theatre, was represented by Knockout and served as director of the Japan Directors Association.
