## Biography

Babak Ahmadpour (also credited as Babek Ahmedpoor or Babak Ahmadpour) is an Iranian actor. He is known for his role as Ahmad in Abbas Kiarostami's *Where Is the Friend's House?* (1987) and for appearing as himself in *Through the Olive Trees* (1994). He also featured briefly in *And Life Goes On* (1992).

Ahmadpour was born in the village of Koker in Rudbar County, Iran. With his brother Ahmad Ahmadpour, he was cast as a child with no prior acting experience for the first film in Kiarostami's Koker trilogy. The brothers later appeared in the 2018 documentary *Tree of Life*.
