## Biography

Bahar Soomekh is an Iranian-American actress. She was born on 30 March 1975 in Tehran, Iran, and moved with her family to Los Angeles in 1979. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1997 with a degree in environmental studies, and began her acting career after working in corporate sales.

Soomekh's breakthrough came with the role of Dorri in the 2004 film *Crash*. She followed this with appearances in *Syriana* (2005), as Davian's Translator in *Mission: Impossible III* (2006), and as Lynn Denlon in *Saw III* (2006) and *Saw IV* (2007). She also had guest roles in television series including *JAG*, *24*, *Bones*, *Day Break* (2006–2007) and *Castle* (2009). Her acting career spanned from 2002 to 2014.
