Baldvin Zophoníasson, also credited as Baldvin Z, is an Icelandic film and television director, writer and producer. He was born on 18 March 1978 in Akureyri, Iceland.

His feature films include *Jitters* (2010), *Life in a Fishbowl* (2014) and *Let Me Fall* (2018). He directed nine episodes of the series *Réttur* (2015) and three episodes of *Trapped* (2016). *Life in a Fishbowl* won an Edda Award for Best Director.
