## Biography

Barbara De Fina is an American film producer. She began her career in production roles in the 1970s and 1980s, working as a production coordinator and unit manager on films including Woody Allen's *Interiors* (1978) and Sidney Lumet's *Prince of the City* (1981).

She is best known for her long association with director Martin Scorsese. De Fina produced *The Color of Money* (1986), *The Last Temptation of Christ* (1988), *Cape Fear* (1991), *The Age of Innocence* (1993), *Casino* (1995), *Kundun* (1997), *Bringing Out the Dead* (1999) and *Silence* (2016). She was executive producer on *Goodfellas* (1990) and *Hugo* (2011).

De Fina was married to Scorsese from 1985 to 1991. She has also produced films for other directors, including *You Can Count on Me* (2000) and *Lymelife* (2008).
