Barbara Lawrence, also credited as Barbara Jo Lawrence, was an American actress and model. Born in Carnegie, Oklahoma, she began her career as a child model before making her film debut in *Diamond Horseshoe* (1945). She appeared in a number of 20th Century Fox productions in the late 1940s, including *Margie* (1946), *The Street with No Name* (1948), *Unfaithfully Yours* (1948) and *Thieves' Highway* (1949).

Lawrence is known for her role as Georgiana 'Babe' Finney in *A Letter to Three Wives* (1949) and as Gertie Cummings in the film adaptation of *Oklahoma!* (1955). Her other screen credits include *The Star* (1952), *Man with the Gun* (1955) and *Man in the Shadow* (1957). She also made guest appearances on television series such as *Perry Mason* and *Bonanza*. Her acting career spanned from 1945 to 1962; she later worked as a real estate agent.
