## Biography

Barbara Nichols (born Barbara Marie Nickerauer) was an American actress. She was born on 10 December 1928 in Mineola, New York, and died on 5 October 1976 in Los Angeles, California.

She began her career as a model and appeared on Broadway in the 1952 revival of *Pal Joey*. Nichols moved to Hollywood in the mid-1950s and took supporting roles in films including *Sweet Smell of Success* (1957), in which she played Rita, *Pal Joey* (1957) and *The Pajama Game* (1957). She also appeared in television series such as *The Twilight Zone*, *Batman* and *Hawaii Five-O*.
