Barbara Rafferty is a Scottish actress. Born Barbara Ann Brown on 15 January 1950 in Clydebank, she has worked in film, television and theatre since the 1970s.

Her film roles include Madge Cameron in *Go Now* (1995) and Mrs. Garrigan in *The Last King of Scotland* (2006). On television she played Agnes Meldrum in *Hamish Macbeth* (1995–1997), Ella Cotter in *Rab C. Nesbitt* (1990–2014) and Bernie O'Hara in the soap *River City* (from 2018). Other credits include *The Wicker Man* (1973), *Perfect Sense* (2011) and *Katie Morag* (2013–2015) as Grandma Mainland.
