## Biography

Barry Jossen is an American television and film producer and executive. He began his career as a production assistant in the early 1980s and later worked as a producer at Lucasfilm Limited and head of production at DreamWorks Television.

Jossen has held senior executive positions including head of ABC Studios, where he oversaw series such as *Lost*, *Desperate Housewives*, *Grey's Anatomy* and *Scandal*, and founded the boutique studio ABC Signature. He joined A+E Networks in 2014 as Executive Vice President of A+E Studios and is now President and Head of A+E Studios, overseeing its scripted productions.

His producing credits include *My So-Called Life* (1994), *Miami Rhapsody* (1995), *Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco* (1996), *Sex and the City* (as co-executive producer), *Roots* (2016) and *The Lincoln Lawyer* (2022). He won an Academy Award for the short film *Dear Diary* (1996) and received three Emmy nominations.
