Barry Trivers (12 February 1907 – 17 August 1981) was an American screenwriter and television writer born in Egypt. He worked in Hollywood from the 1930s, contributing to feature films including *Flying Tigers* (1942).

Trivers wrote extensively for television in the 1950s and 1960s. His credits include a story for *The Fugitive* (1963) and the teleplay for the *Star Trek* episode 'The Conscience of the King' (1966). He also wrote episodes of *Naked City*, *Perry Mason*, *Rawhide*, *Mannix* and *Kojak*. In 1962 he received a Writers Guild of America award for his *Naked City* screenplay 'The Fault in Our Stars'. He was married to actress Florine McKinney.
