Barton Heyman was an American actor. Born in Washington, D.C., he studied theatre arts at the University of California, Los Angeles.

He appeared in films including *The Exorcist* (1973), *Let's Scare Jessica to Death* (1971), *Cruising* (1980), *The Secret of My Success* (1987), *Awakenings* (1990), *The Bonfire of the Vanities* (1990), *Raising Cain* (1992), *The Basketball Diaries* (1995) and *Dead Man Walking* (1995), in which he played Captain Beliveau. He also worked extensively on stage, with credits in New York Shakespeare Festival productions and on Broadway.

Heyman died in New York City in 1996.
