Batan Silva is a Mexican director, assistant director and producer. Born on 2 February 1964 in Mexico City as Sebastián Gaetano Silva Beard, he began his career in the late 1980s and 1990s working as a first assistant director on feature films including *Desperado* (1995), *Clear and Present Danger* (1994) and later projects such as *Song to Song* (2017).

He has directed episodes of numerous television series, including one episode of *The Boys* (2020), two episodes of *Resident Evil* (2022), one episode of *The Flight Attendant* (2020), episodes of *The Sinner*, *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit*, *Chicago Fire*, *Mayans M.C.* and *S.W.A.T.*. Silva has also served as a producer on several projects.
