Beeson Carroll was an American actor. He began working in the mid-1960s, appearing in television episodes and films such as *Mister Buddwing* (1966). His early screen roles included parts in *Bananas* (1971) and *Lady Liberty* (1971).

Carroll played Capt. Earl Delise in *Coming Home* (1978). Other film credits include *Bound for Glory* (1976), *Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone* (1983), *Crimes of the Heart* (1986), *Rounders* (1998) and *Diggers* (2006). On television he appeared in series including *M*A*S*H* (1977) as Lt. Col. Donald Penobscott, *Hill Street Blues*, *Miami Vice* and *The Waltons*, and had recurring roles in *Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman* and *Palmerstown, U.S.A.*. He also performed on stage and received an Obie Award in 1970 for *The Unseen Hand*.
