## Biography

Ben Acker is an American writer and producer. He began his career as a production assistant on the sitcom *Will & Grace* (1999–2000) before moving into writing.

With frequent collaborator Ben Blacker, Acker co-created *The Thrilling Adventure Hour*, a live stage show and podcast series in the style of 1940s radio that debuted in 2005. He has written for television including the *Supernatural* episode "The Mentalists" (2011) and ten episodes of *The Adventures of Puss in Boots* (2015–2016). Acker has also written comics, Star Wars novels and other media.
