## Biography

Ben Blue (born Benjamin Bernstein; 12 September 1901 – 7 March 1975) was a Canadian-American actor and comedian. He began his career in vaudeville and as a dancer before appearing in short films for Warner Bros. from 1926, and later worked at Hal Roach Studios, Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.

His film roles included Sid Simms in *For Me and My Gal* (1942), the biplane pilot in *It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World* (1963), Luther Grilk in *The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming* (1966), and the technical adviser in *A Guide for the Married Man* (1967). He also appeared as Moley in the television series *Land of the Giants* (1968). Blue hosted his own television series in 1950 and owned nightclubs.
