## Biography

Ben Chanan is a British television director and writer. He directed all eight episodes of the second series of *The Missing* (2016).

His other directing credits include two episodes of *The Last Kingdom* (2015) and *Our World War* (2014). He directed and co-wrote the Channel 4 television film *Cyberbully* (2015).

Chanan created, wrote and directed the BBC surveillance thriller series *The Capture* (2019–), on which he also serves as executive producer. He has received a BAFTA Award.
