## Biography

Ben Harris is a casting director and executive. He has worked in casting on numerous films and television series, including as casting associate on *Sing* (2016), *Ghostbusters* (2016), *The Dictator* (2012), *A Simple Favor* (2018), *Kubo and the Two Strings* (2016), *Palm Springs* (2020), *Daddy's Home* (2015), *Bombshell* (2019), *Booksmart* (2019) and *Daddy's Home 2* (2017).

Harris served as casting director on *The Good Place* (2016–2020) and other series such as *Our Flag Means Death*, *Space Force* and *White House Plumbers*. He shared a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series for his work on *Veep*. In 2021 he joined Netflix as head of comedy series casting and was promoted in 2025 to Director of Drama/Comedy Series Casting.

He has also appeared in small acting roles, including as Higgins Student in *Ghostbusters* (2016) and in episodes of *Curb Your Enthusiasm* and *The Office*.
