## Biography

Ben Kutchins is an American cinematographer. He began his career with an internship at Industrial Light & Magic, later studying film at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He shot numerous short films and independent features before working on the 2014 film *Veronica Mars* and the series *Mozart in the Jungle*.

Kutchins has served as director of photography on the Netflix series *Ozark* (2017–2020), receiving two Primetime Emmy Award nominations, and on the HBO series *The White Lotus* (2021–), for which he earned a further nomination. His other credits include the films *The Art of Getting By* (2011), *Sleeping with Other People* (2015), *Clouds* (2020) and *Boston Strangler* (2023), the latter also nominated for an Emmy. He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
