Benjamin Hendrickson was an American actor. He was born on 26 August 1950 in Huntington, Long Island, New York, and died there on 3 July 2006.

He trained at the Juilliard School as part of its first drama division class and was a founding member of John Houseman's The Acting Company. Hendrickson appeared in numerous stage productions, including Broadway roles in *Awake and Sing*, *Strider* and *The Elephant Man*.

Hendrickson played Dr. Frederick Chilton in the film *Manhunter* (1986). He was best known for his long-running role as Harold 'Hal' Munson Jr. on the daytime soap opera *As the World Turns* (1985–2006), for which he received a Daytime Emmy Award in 2003. His other film credits include *Regarding Henry* (1991), *Consenting Adults* (1992) and *Spanking the Monkey* (1994).
