## Biography

Benni Korzen (1 April 1938 – 15 February 2026) was a Danish film producer. Born in Copenhagen, he later moved to the United States, where he produced, line-produced or executive produced more than 20 feature films, often in partnership with Just Betzer or New York producers Rankin and Bass.

Korzen is best known for producing *Babette's Feast* (1987), which won the Academy Award and BAFTA Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1988. Other credits include *The Misfit Brigade* (1987), *Alone in the Dark* (1982) and *Mr. Nanny* (1993). He was co-owner of Panorama Film International in New York and served as general partner in partnerships that produced films distributed by New Line Cinema.

Korzen was married to actress Annie Korzen.
