## Biography

Bernadette McNamara is a television writer and producer. She began her career in the writers' room of *NYPD Blue*, where she worked as assistant to David Milch and received story and teleplay credits on one episode in 1999.

She later contributed as a writer to *Big Apple* (2001), for which she also served as associate producer, and to *Medium* (2006). On *Deadwood* (2004), she worked as liaison and associate producer before writing the episode 'The Catbird Seat' (2006).
