Bernard C. Schoenfeld was an American screenwriter. He was born Bernard Cutner Schoenfeld on 17 August 1907 in Brooklyn, New York, and died on 25 April 1990 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Schoenfeld wrote for more than twenty films and television series. His screenplays include *Phantom Lady* (1944), *The Dark Corner* (1946), *Caged* (1950), *Macao* (1952) and *There's Always Tomorrow* (1956). He contributed to television series including *Alfred Hitchcock Presents* and an episode of *The Twilight Zone* (1959), "From Agnes - with Love" (1964). He received an Academy Award nomination for the screenplay of *Caged*.

He was the father of Maurice "Reese" Schoenfeld, co-founder of CNN.
