Bernard Girard (22 February 1918 – 30 December 1997) was an American director, screenwriter and producer. Born in Vallejo, California, he served in the United States Army Air Corps during the Second World War before moving to Hollywood in the late 1940s. He began his career as a screenwriter and made his directorial debut in 1957.

Girard directed numerous television episodes, including one for *The Twilight Zone* (1963), several for *Alfred Hitchcock Presents* and *The Alfred Hitchcock Hour*, and episodes of *Rawhide*. He also directed films such as *Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round* (1966), *The Mad Room* (1969) and *The Mind Snatchers* (1972). He received Emmy nominations for his work on *Playhouse 90* and *You Are There*, and won a Sylvania Award for directing an episode of *Medic*.
