Bernard Thompson (25 July 1926 – 19 November 1998) was a British television producer and director. He was born in Folkestone, Kent.

Thompson directed episodes of *Are You Being Served?* (1972–1973) and worked as producer and director on *Only Fools and Horses* (1981). He also served as producer and director on *Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads?* (1973).

His other credits include directing and producing episodes of *Last of the Summer Wine* (1975) and directing *The District Nurse* (1984).
