## Biography

Bert Jordan was a film editor. Born Albert Adrian Jordan in Liverpool, England, he worked at the Hal Roach Studios from the early 1930s, where he edited numerous short and feature films starring Laurel and Hardy, including *Sons of the Desert* (1933), *Babes in Toyland* (1934), *Way Out West* (1937) and *Block-Heads* (1938).

Jordan also edited Lewis Milestone’s *Of Mice and Men* (1939). His later credits included several Hal Roach B-movies and television series such as *The Real McCoys*. He died in Los Angeles in 1983.
