Bert Moorhouse, born Herbert Green Moorhouse, was an American character actor. He was born on 20 November 1894 in Chicago, Illinois, and died on 26 January 1954 in Hollywood, California.

He entered the film industry in 1928 with featured roles in *Rough Ridin' Red* and *Hey Rube!*. Over a 26-year career he appeared in more than 130 films, often in small or uncredited parts. His credits include *My Man Godfrey* (1936) as a card-playing party guest, *Citizen Kane* (1941), *The Great Dictator* (1940), *It's a Wonderful Life* (1946), *Notorious* (1946), *Sunset Boulevard* (1950) and *Ace in the Hole* (1951).
