## Biography

Bertil Norström was a Swedish actor. Born in Sala, he worked as a journalist before training at Calle Flygares teaterskola. He made his stage debut in 1946 and appeared in productions at theatres including Oscarsteatern, Malmö stadsteater, Norrköping-Linköpings stadsteater, Stockholm stadsteater and Dramaten.

Norström had a long career in film and television, often in supporting roles. He is known for appearances in *A Swedish Love Story* (1970), *Scenes from a Marriage* (1973) as Arne, *New Mischief by Emil* (1972), *The Brothers Lionheart* (1977) as Pjuke, *Who Pulled the Plug?* (1981), *The Accidental Golfer* (1991) and *The Best Intentions* (1992). He played Bengt Persson in the series *Varuhuset* (1987–1989).

He was married to actress Margreth Weivers from 1947 until his death in Stockholm in 2012.
