Bertrand Cadart was a French actor and motorcycle enthusiast. Born on 30 April 1948 in Amiens, Somme, France, he moved to Australia in 1972. He worked as an on-air presenter for Radio Australia’s French-language programmes at the ABC.

Cadart appeared as Clunk in the film *Mad Max* (1979). He also featured in *Bolivian Kiss* (2012) and appeared as himself in documentaries including *The Madness of Max* (2015) and *Beyond the Wasteland* (2022). In 2007 he was elected Mayor of Glamorgan Spring Bay Council in Tasmania, where he promoted motorcycle-friendly policies. He died on 10 April 2020 in Caloundra, Queensland.
