## Biography

Biff Wiff, born Gary Crotty, was an American actor. He graduated from Wayne State University in 1976 and began his professional career with a role in the television series *The New Gidget* in 1986. He appeared in numerous guest roles on series including *Roseanne*, *Desperate Housewives*, *It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia*, *iCarly*, *Brooklyn Nine-Nine*, *Westworld* and *NCIS*.

Wiff gained wider recognition for his performances in *I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson*, notably as a profane Santa Claus, and for playing Rick in the 2022 film *Everything Everywhere All at Once*. He also appeared in *Dave*, *Jury Duty*, *Self Reliance* (2023) and the *Night Court* revival. He was married to Taylor Ashbrook. Wiff died of cancer on 12 February 2025, aged 76.
