## Biography

Bill Callahan is an American television writer and producer. He began his career in the late 1990s as a writer and story editor on the sitcom *Spin City*.

He has written episodes of *Scrubs* (2001), *Psych* (2006), *8 Simple Rules* (2002), *The Goldbergs* (2013), *Lethal Weapon* (2016), *American Housewife* (2016) and *Trial & Error* (2017). He also served as a producer on several of these series. Callahan wrote an episode of the sports comedy *Stick* (2025) and acted as executive producer on the series.

He is the first cousin of actor John C. McGinley and has been married to Sarah Mira Frank-Meltzer since 2008. He has received Emmy nominations for his work in television.
