Bill Cross is an American actor with credits in film and television from the late 1960s onwards. He played Sheriff Eakers in the 1987 horror film *Near Dark* and appeared in supporting roles in films including *48 Hrs.* (1982), *Down and Out in Beverly Hills* (1986), *Three Fugitives* (1989), *Blue Chips* (1994) and *Turbulence* (1997).

On television he has guest roles in series such as *CHiPs* (1977), *Little House on the Prairie* (1974), *Knight Rider* (1982) and *Beverly Hills, 90210* (1990), and a recurring part in *Days of Our Lives* (1996–2002). He has also worked in additional crew capacities and produced the 2000 film *Ed Gein*, in which he played George Gein.
