## Biography

Bill Haynes is a television writer and producer. He began his career in law enforcement as a criminalist with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office, working in the narcotics and forensic biology divisions.

Haynes joined the production of *CSI: NY* (2004) as a technical consultant in its first season and later served as technical advisor, co-producer and producer while writing fifteen episodes across eight seasons. He left the series in 2012 to join the writing staff of *Hawaii Five-0* (2010), where he contributed as writer and supervising producer on multiple episodes.
