## Biography

Bill Mumy is an American actor, musician, writer and producer. Born Charles William Mumy Jr. on 1 February 1954 in San Gabriel, California, he began acting professionally as a child, appearing in guest roles on television series including *The Twilight Zone* (1959), *Bewitched* (1964) and *I Dream of Jeannie* (1965).

He is best known for playing Will Robinson in the science-fiction series *Lost in Space* (1965–1968). Other film roles include Sterling North in *Rascal* (1969), Teft in *Bless the Beasts and Children* (1971) and Lariot in *Papillon* (1973). In the 1990s he played Lennier in *Babylon 5* (1993–1998) and has worked extensively in voice acting for animated series and films.

Mumy is also a musician, performing as one half of the comedy-rock duo Barnes & Barnes, and has written comics and a memoir. He received an Inkpot Award in 2015.
