Bill Nye is an American science communicator, television presenter and former mechanical engineer. He is best known as the host of the children's science series *Bill Nye the Science Guy* (1993–1998).

Nye has appeared as himself or in voice roles in numerous television series and films, including *The Big Bang Theory* (2013–2018), *Futurama* (2023–2025), *Mank* (2020) as Upton Sinclair, and *PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie* (2026) as Dr. Theo Rising (voice). He serves as CEO of The Planetary Society.
