## Biography

Bill Thorpe is an American actor and singer. He trained at the New England Conservatory, where he earned a master's degree in voice and opera performance, and studied at the Lichtenberg Voice Institute in Germany.

Thorpe has appeared in supporting roles in several films, including *Mystic River* (2003) as the neighbour at the barricade, *Joy* (2015) as the Dallas man, *Sound of Metal* (2020) as the man, *The Unholy* (2021) as Father Prescott, and *Boston Strangler* (2023) as the brawny detective. He has also worked in television series such as *Olive Kitteridge* (2014) and *Castle Rock* (2018).

As a singer, he has performed as a soloist across the United States and on CBS television for the Cole Porter centennial broadcast. He is a member of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society and ASCAP.
