## Biography

Bill Weston (29 May 1941 – 25 March 2012) was an English actor and stuntman. He began his screen career in 1966, stunt doubling for Gordon Jackson in *The Fighting Prince of Donegal*, and later doubled for actors including David Warner, Peter O'Toole and Michael York.

In 1968 he played an astronaut and served as stunt double for Keir Dullea in *2001: A Space Odyssey*. His stunt credits include *Star Wars* (1977), *Superman* (1978), *Raiders of the Lost Ark* (1981), *Batman* (1989), *Titanic* (1997), *Saving Private Ryan* (1998) and *Batman Begins* (2005). He also appeared as an actor in *The Living Daylights* (1987). Weston retired in 2011 after working on *Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2*.
