William Harper, also credited as Bill Harper, is a television writer, producer and occasional actor. He began working on *Grey's Anatomy* in 2008 as a staff writer and story editor, later advancing to co-executive producer, executive producer and co-showrunner.

Harper has written dozens of episodes of the series and contributed to other programmes including *The Baker and the Beauty* (2020), *Clarice* (2021) and *A Small Light* (2023). He has also appeared as an actor on *Grey's Anatomy*, playing Owen's Therapist in two episodes of season fifteen.
