Billy Redden is an American actor born on 13 October 1956 in Rabun County, Georgia. He was cast at the age of 15 in the role of Lonnie, the banjo-playing boy, in the 1972 film *Deliverance* after being discovered locally by casting director Lynn Stalmaster.

Redden appeared in a small number of subsequent films, including *Blastfighter* (1984) and *Big Fish* (2003), in both cases playing a banjo player. He has also worked as a tour guide for *Deliverance* filming locations and in various local jobs.
