Blake McCormick is an American television writer and producer, also credited as John Blake McCormick. He began his career with assistant roles on series including *The X-Files* and *Futurama* before contributing as a writer and story editor on the animated sitcom *King of the Hill* (1997) from 2007 to 2009.

McCormick later served as executive producer and showrunner on the comedy series *Cougar Town* (2009). He wrote for and developed the action-comedy series *Rush Hour* (2016), on which he also acted as co-showrunner. His other writing credits include episodes of *Ghosted* (2017) and *Single Parents* (2018). In 2012, his screenplay *Untitled Cops Comedy* was sold to Universal Pictures and appeared on The Black List.
