## Biography

Blake Neely is an American composer, conductor and orchestrator. Born in Paris, Texas, he studied linguistics at the University of Texas and is self-taught in music after being rejected by the university's music school.

Neely has composed for numerous television series, including *The Mentalist*, *You* and the Arrowverse shows *Arrow*, *The Flash* and *Supergirl*. He collaborated with Hans Zimmer and Geoff Zanelli on the score for the miniseries *The Pacific* (2010). His other film credits include work as orchestrator or conductor on *The Iron Giant* (1999), *The Day After Tomorrow* (2004) and *Click* (2006).

Neely won an Emmy Award in 2021 for the main title theme of *The Flight Attendant* and has received seven Emmy nominations in total, including for *The Pacific*.
