Blixa Bargeld, born Christian Emmerich, is a German actor and musician. He was born on 12 January 1959 in Berlin.

He has appeared in several films, often as himself or in small roles. These include *Wings of Desire* (1987) as a member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and the documentary *20,000 Days on Earth* (2014). Other credits encompass *B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West-Berlin 1979-1989* (2015), *Fraktus* (2012) and *Anhedonia* (2016).

Bargeld is the lead vocalist of Einstürzende Neubauten and was guitarist with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds from 1984 to 2003. He has also worked as a composer and performer.
