## Biography

Bob Badami is an American music editor, supervisor and consultant. He was born on 2 October 1951 in San Diego, California.

He worked as music editor on films including *Top Gun* (1986), *Batman* (1989), *Edward Scissorhands* (1990) and *The Nightmare Before Christmas* (1993). He served as music supervisor on the first three *Pirates of the Caribbean* films (2003–2007) and *The Da Vinci Code* (2006). Badami was film editor on *Batman Returns* (1992). In 1989 he received a Technical Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for developing the Streamline Scoring System, Mark IV, for motion picture music editing.
