## Biography

Bob Dolman is a Canadian screenwriter, director, producer and actor. He began his career writing for television series including *WKRP in Cincinnati* and *SCTV*, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award in 1982.

His film credits include the screenplay for *Willow* (1988) and both the screenplay and story for *Far and Away* (1992), on which he also served as producer and appeared as an actor. He made his directorial debut with *The Banger Sisters* (2002), which he also wrote, and directed *How to Eat Fried Worms* (2006). Dolman returned to the *Willow* franchise as writer and producer on the 2022 Disney+ series.

Dolman was raised on Vancouver Island and is the brother of actress Nancy Dolman, who was married to Martin Short. His son Jack Dolman works as a sound and music editor.
