## Biography

Bobs Watson, also credited as Robert Ball Watson, was an American actor and Methodist minister. Born in Los Angeles, he began his career as a child actor in the 1930s and was known for his ability to cry on cue. He appeared in films including *Libeled Lady* (1936), *Boys Town* (1938) as Pee Wee, *On Borrowed Time* (1939) as Pud, *Dodge City* (1939) and *Men of Boys Town* (1941).

Watson later took guest roles in television series such as *The Twilight Zone*, *The Beverly Hillbillies*, *Green Acres* and *The Fugitive*. In the mid-1960s he attended Claremont School of Theology and became a Methodist minister, serving for around thirty years in Burbank and La Cañada, California, before retiring in the late 1990s.

He was a member of the Watson family of child actors and the family received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Watson died in Laguna Beach, California, in 1999.
